Every year around International Women's Day in March, Kunstraum Schwaz dedicates itself to feminist positions in film.

Plot:
The film centres on the indigenous community of a small Mixtec town and three loosely connected stories: Maria was disowned by her father because of her homosexuality and comes back for her mother's funeral; Toña returns to protect her daughter from her uncle; Chabela's husband comes home from the US after years as a migrant worker. These three lives tell the story of how this rural community deals with sexuality. Lesbian love, painful divorce, abuse of minors, and, most importantly, how three women stay strong – pleasantly non-judgmental and optimistic.
