The Sir Teens

The three-person band from Vienna presents itself in a new sound guise. Maria Herold, Maria Hruschka and Karl Schönswetter have swapped their instruments and are experimenting with a combination of EDM and art pop. With the help of drum machines, electric bass, synthesizers, loop stations and vocals, they let singer-songwriter melodies mutate into rousing lo-fi electronic anthems. Pop songs turn into dance hits, while their unique mix of analog and electronic sounds creates an unmistakable soundscape.
